We are looking for a Senior Mobile App Engineer to join our Engineering Team in Malmö, Sweden where you will develop apps that will provide our customers with mobile access to our products. We are in the beginning of our journey with mobile apps and you will be a vital player, being involved in everything from requirement specification to definition of architecture and user interface. To thrive in this role you will need to have a broad experience from app development. We expect that you know how to create a good architecture, how an intuitive user interface should look like and which methods and tools to use to verify the functionality you develop. We work with many different products and you will from time to time work also with our other products, so it is a plus if you have a background as a Java backend or frontend developer.

Primary responsibilities:
• Development and maintenance of mobile apps for Android.
• Development and maintenance of APIs for mobile apps
• Assist QA in development of automated tests and performance tests for mobile apps.
• Development and maintenance of other frontend and backend components

Our ideal candidate will have the following skills and capabilities:
• BS/MS in CS, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• At least 5+ years of software development experience
• Expert in mobile apps development and testing for Android
• Experience of mobile apps development and testing for iOS is a plus
• Experience designing and using REST web service APIs
• Experience of working with high performant client-server solutions for mobile apps including APIs between app and server
• Good knowledge in Java or JavaScript/HTML/CSS
• Fluent in English and a great communicator
• Long experience of taking full responsibility for apps including all aspects of the software lifecycle from architecture to design, implementation, testing and deployment
• Quality focused
• Talent for creating intuitive user interfaces
• Experience in creating reports in apps including tables and graphs.
• Experience from working in an international work environment with collaboration with remote offices ?
• Experience using source control and bug tracking (ex. Git, Jira)?
• Experience working in an Agile dev environment
• Familiarity with Linux (systems skills is a plus)
• Background as a backend developer (Java) or as frontend developer (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) is a plus as you will contribute also to other components managed by the Malmö office
• Proficiency in SQL concepts is a plus
