As Mechanical Engineer BIW at Cab Gothenburg you will be a key contributor to the success of our customers. We aspire to have the most skilled and engaged employees in the industry and we are now looking for anSenior Mechanical Engineer BIWto strengthen theCab Body team. We are responsible for the BIW (Body in White), Door cpl, Roof hatch, Luggage lid, Glass & Sealants the following specialist areas: Sheet metal, adhesives and joining; Surface treatment and Corrosion; and Cab tightness.

Tasks and Responsibilities
You will be responsible for development and design of BIW structures, from early pre-studies through to the different design phases in projects
You lead a cross functional team to develop and deliver fully verified technical solutions fulfilling product requirements
Your role is wide and will range from design work in Catia V5 to lead your own team as well as work in your cross functional network
You will participate in a global network of BIW engineers and be part of the development of roadmaps and other strategies as well as proposing and executing the Advanced Engineering studies needed to support them
Profile and Qualifications
Minimum 10 years of experience in BIW/DIW design from trucks or cars, with at least 5 years working within concept and feasibility
Very skilled in Catia V5 surface design
Very good knowledge in Kola or similar PDM (Product Data Management) Systems
You have worked in leading roles before and have a proven ability to take responsibility and lead tasks and people
Good knowledge in written and spoken English
M.Sc. degree in engineering or equivalent professional experience
