Since 2013 CEVT has grown rapidly and now keeps some 2000 people busy. China Euro Vehicle Technology AB is a subsidiary of Zhejiang Geely Holding Group.
We currently have three manager positions available in the Subsystem & Components department:
Senior Manager, Subsystem & Components, EDS and Power Supply
This is a leadership position at Subsystem & Components covering EDS (PSS330) development and Power Supply (PSS332) development at CEVT. Main task will be to be manager for the employees in these areas.
EDS are responsible for installing the needed Wire Harnesses and related mechanical components in the vehicles.
Power Supply are responsible for the design of the 12/48V systems and components in the vehicle to secure power supply to the vehicle components.
Senior Manager Subsystem & Components, Climate & Comfort Electronics
This is a leadership position at Subsystem & Components covering Comfort Electronics (PSS340( development at CEVT. Main task will be to be manager for the employees in these areas.
Comfort Electronics develops the comfort electronics such as, door module, seat module switches and other comfort related components and systems.
Climate electronics develops the climate subsystem and related ECU:s.
Senior Manager Subsystem & Components, Body & System design EE
This is a leadership position at Subsystem & Components covering Body Electronics and Subsystem design development at CEVT. Main task will be to be manager for the employees in these areas.
Body Electronics (PSS350) develops the CEM and alarms components.
System design team will be responsible to develop the EE subsystem designs.
All three roles mean that you, as Senior Manager, will be responsible for developing your team to securing quality on everyday deliveries. You will work in tight close co-operation with System Managers, who secures concepts and technology and contribute to the content and to the shaping and development of a team consisting of highly skilled and motivated individuals.
You will report to the Module Team Director of Subsystem & Components with whom you will plan resource and team development needs. Further, you will be part of the module management team.
The work principle within the Subsystem & Components Module Team is flexibility. You get to practice what you excel at within your area of responsibility, but as you are part of a larger team you will also support activities in other areas as well as getting support in your area.
Responsibilities and tasks
* Employee lifecycle responsibility for direct reports including recruitment, performance management and competence development.
* Providing coaching and guidance to employees to ensure deliveries and personal development
* Building up, developing and long term securing the needed competence, capacity and working processes within the system team
* Organizing, supervising and quality assurance of work activities
* Managing plans and deadlines
* Representing the system area in Launch Phase activities and lead and follow-up on change management.
* Representing the system area in various cross-functional fora.
* Supporting Module Team Directors and System Managers to evaluate engineering solutions
* Budget responsible for the group.
Profile and Background
* MSc or equivalent experience
* Leadership skills with ability to inspire, drive, motivate and coach direct reports
* Ability and motivation to build high performing and diverse team with a strong team spirit
* Cultural awareness and an interest in diversity
* A flexible mindset with ability to lead change and development as well as taking decisions
* Ability to communicate clearly and being perceptive
* Background within engineering, product development and automotive experience is an advantage
* Fluency in English, both oral and written
