At NKT HV Cables in Karlskrona, we contribute to the global transition towards renewable energy by providing advanced high-voltage cable systems. To ensure our factory runs smoothly 24/7, we are now looking for a Senior Manager, Tactical Procurement & Operations - a key leader who will secure reliable material supply, develop our local procurement team, and ensure operational excellence.
In this role, you will lead a team of 11 Operational Buyers and oversee the daily procurement activities that keep our production flowing. Together with colleagues across Procurement, Supply Chain, and Operations, you ensure that the right materials are available at the right time, while continuously improving processes and compliance.
Your work includes coaching and developing your team, ensuring efficient buying practices, and implementing new tools and ways of working. You act as the local point of escalation for operational challenges, support audits, and provide key data to internal stakeholders such as Treasury. You also contribute to global Category Strategies and make sure we follow them effectively on site.
We are on our early journey with SAP S4/HANA and experience from that would be a merit as well as knowledge about Ariba, both upstream and downstream.
What You Bring
* A university degree in engineering or business
* 5-8 years of procurement experience and at least 2-3 years in a leadership role
* Experience with e-sourcing and procurement automation
* Effective leadership skills with a structured, solution-oriented mindset
* Effective communication skills and the ability to build strong networks internally and externally
* Experience from manufacturing in a 24/7 production environment
