hela Sverige Sales and Production Planning (SPP) is responsible for Volvo Cars short- and long-term volume planning. This includes the development of the official global Industry Forecasts, Sales Forecasts, Production Volume Program and overall Capacity Planning. All of this is done in close cooperation with other stakeholders within Volvo Cars. Are you passionate about people and the Volvo brand? We are looking for a Senior Manager Sales & Volume Optimization within Sales & Volume Optimization (SVO) which is part of Sales and Production Planning (SPP). The position will report to the Senior Director, Sales & Volume Optimization. SVO is responsible for the development of Volvo Cars short-term sales forecast in close cooperation and proactive interaction with the Regions/markets and other VCC stakeholders.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
Develop yearly sales target and monthly sales forecasts (current and next year) for approval by EMT in close cooperation with the Regions/markets
Represent and be the main voice of one of the Regions regarding volume related issues within SPP and other VCC stakeholders
Proactively analyze and address sales opportunities and risks
Prepare and manage the monthly VPP meetings with the Regions
Monitor and steer stock development in the Regions
Profile:
Required Qualifications
Minimum 5-10 years of automotive experience
Good knowledge and/or experience of sales planning and management
Fluent in spoken and written English
Preferred Qualifications
Market/National Sales Company experience
Experience in working in a multi-cultural environment
Personal Qualities
Very strong analytical, planning, and interpersonal skills
Strong business acumen
Highly result driven problem solver with a proactive mindset
Education
MA/BA university degree or similar
