Our application lets our users manage and run their own businesses from their mobile, with no paperwork, no bookkeeping and no worries about taxation.Red Flag is a place where we value each other as individuals but work as a team. The official language is English but a bit of Swedish help with the water cooler talk.We're looking for senior Java developers to join us at our splendid office in Stockholm, Sweden. We work primarily in Linux and love the command line. Our platform is based on micro services that runs in Kubernetes on Google Cloud. We're doing continuous delivery and use Docker and Docker Compose for integration testing - we have no testers but prefer to do it ourselves using automation. Java 11 (with Guice, Jetty, RESTEasy etc) dominates in the backend, but we also use TypeScript and JavaScript. The architecture is based on event sourcing with Kafka as a persistent store.We care about who you are and where you're from, and not so much about formal education. It's much more important that you like teamwork, that you're willing to learn, are self sufficient, and not afraid to spit in your hands and step up when needed.If you come to us you'll be working together with our experienced backend developers on everything from build tooling, infrastructure and architecture to pure product development. At Red Flag the developers are involved in the process from start to finish, from planning to production and support, and you will be too.The position is full time, in Stockholm, and available immediately.Sound interesting?
