hela Sverige Global Accounting interface (GAI) is a custom developed Nordea solution, built to cover the banks' accounting information flow. The solution includes data quality controls, reconciliation, data mapping logic and business rules.
As a Senior IT Developer you will deliver advanced technical solutions within GAI, using existing mainframe technology platform, as well as work on transforming solutions to emerging technology platforms.
Your main responsibilities will include:
• Design, code, document and test highly effective applications within GAI application area, applying outstanding technical competence to fulfil business and IT requirements, with regards to scalability, functional and non-functional requirements in order to ensure robustness and IT operational stability.
• Manage code quality and flexibility of systems as well as incident, problem and change management within own area, to ensure maintainability and changeability of systems.
• Deliver according to quality, Nordea standards and timeliness to successfully fulfil business requirements.
The position is located in Stockholm.
We are looking for candidates with following qualifications:
• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Programmer.
• Experience with accounting solutions in Banking Industry.
• A broad experience in IT, including application design, test, solution architecture and infrastructure development.
• Experience working with off shore and near shore teams.
• Technical skills in IBM Mainframe z/OS, COBOL, DB2, JCL, TWS or other similar scheduler.
• Minimum Bachelor's Degree, preferably with qualifications in IT or Engineering.
• Fluency in spoken and written English.

Data Sourcing & Platform Integration, where we are responsible for providing IT solutions related to integration and sourcing of data to the Group Functions' information platforms for further processing. This includes integration with existing platforms via the Global Accounting Interface and data sourcing to Common Data Warehouse. It also includes a number of control layers for validating data, for example IT solutions related to reconciliation and adjustments.
