Zound is the team behind the most exciting brands in audio electronics: Marshall, Adidas and Urbanears. We design and develop headphones and speakers whilst championing the human perspective.
The world of audio is changing. Smart speakers and True Wireless headphones are turning audio into a high-tech industry. In the last few years, our products have gone from simple wired devices to connected and complex IoT devices. We are now focusing on evolving our mobile app and the added value it can provide to our users. We are looking for an iOS developer to be part of this meaningful journey.
What you'll do
• Maintain and develop iOS mobile apps for the brands we work with - Adidas and Marshall. Next year we're planning to refurbish our Urbanears app.
• Collaborate closely with our UX and Design team to discuss new features and functions.
• Support and participate in testing and evaluation of the app.
• Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions to promote new ideas and innovation.
• Teamwork with the other developers to help us brainstorm solutions and make our apps even better for our users.
• Prototyping new ideas to make them come true, both individually and across teams.
Who you are
You are an experienced iOS developer with a collaborative mindset who cooperates well internally and externally. To succeed in this role, you need to be a committed problem-solver, focused on building quality products to create great user experiences together with the UX and design team. We believe you have a great passion for new technologies, trends, and software development. You get excited by the idea of creating an amazing app experience that resonates with people not only on a functional level but also on an emotional level.
Your skills and experience
At least 3 years of proven professional iOS app development experience with:
• Swift, Swift UI and Swift package manager
• Modern iOS design patterns (for ex. MVVM, dependency injection)
• Combine framework
• Developer testing infrastructure
• Interacting with Firebase, REST APIs etc.
Good understanding of the developer testing infrastructure (Unit testing, UI tests, Jenkins, etc)
Nice to have: understanding of Bluetooth stack, communication over GATT and AVkit; WiFi stack.
We're an international company with people coming from all around the world, hence strong written and spoken English skills are essential.
