In Swedbank you have the opportunity to:
• Lead the work on specific governance topics and represent Group Products and Advice on related matters, including drafting and reviewing relevant steering documents.
• Provide support to regulatory, compliance and operational risk projects and initiatives including project management and identification and resolution of potential governance issues.
• Support in GPA's response to regulatory examinations (internal and external audit, governmental organisations) and provide expertise, consultation and advice to business units during supervisory reviews and audits.
• Support and monitor the implementation of findings and recommendations and provide support to business on governance matters. Develop strong working partnerships with examiners.
What is needed in this role:
The role includes two areas of responsibilities; a formalised role in line with the Bank's framework for Group Regulations and a support role within the overall governance area.
Regarding the Group Framework Coordinator role, the following tasks are included in the responsibility:
• Coordinate and support the Head of GPA in its responsibilities to execute the GPA assigned Group Regulations for which GPA is assigned Group Framework Owner (GFO)
• Support in formulating and follow up on the GPA Mandates (Level 2 & Level 3)
• Editor for the GPA Governance Directive and associated annual review
• Editor/coordinate/support in establish ToR and governance for GPA assigned committees in dialogue with the secretaries for those committees.
• Coordinate the work with GPA's Owner Directives for subsidiaries as part of GPA's matrix organisation
Regarding the support role within the overall governance area, the following tasks are included in the responsibility:
• Support the management in setting the overall Governance for GPA
• Lead and coordinate supervisory dialogues within the GPA's areas
• Ad hoc governance support
