As a Senior Data Analyst at Trustly, you will look at the breadth of our data with an analytical mindset. Through your analytics skills and proficiency in handling data, you will uncover patterns and provide data-driven answers to complex strategic challenges. Depending on the stakeholder's requests, you will choose adequate solutions to present your insights, ranging from dashboards in our BI tool to deep-dive analysis. In close collaboration with our Data Foundation team, you will be involved in building a strong and reliable data platform that will support the analytics needs.
About the Business Performance Analytics team
The Business Performance Analytics team supports key business stakeholders such as Operations, Commercial, and Finance. Our mission is to empower data-driven decision-making by delivering actionable insights that drive merchant growth, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency. We continuously strive to improve analytics capabilities, optimize resources, and foster a culture of data-driven decision-making across the organization.
What you'll do
Take full ownership of end-to-end analytical projects, from defining objectives with stakeholders to delivering actionable insights and recommendations
Perform in-depth data analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that drive business growth and efficiency
Choose adequate analytical methods and tools to convey complex findings in a clear and concise manner
Collaborate closely with the Data Foundation team to ensure the reliability and scalability of our data infrastructure
Continuously and proactively identify opportunities to improve our analytics capabilities
Actively participate in establishing the data-driven culture at Trustly
Communicate complex findings in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Who you are
Master's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field
At least 3 years of experience in the analytics field; Experience within payments, fintech, or a high-growth tech company is a plus
Strong ability to work independently and take ownership of complex analytical challenges
Solid and broad analytical skill set
Advanced skills in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis
Experience with BI tools such as Qlik Sense or Tableau
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Thrives in a fast-growing, dynamic environment and enjoys working cross-functionally
