As Senior Contract Manager, you will, together with a team of experienced and motivated professionals, be handling a number of projects serving customers within the Process Automation Process Industries division. In this position you will provide contract management services for medium to large-size projects, with varying complexity, throughout the full project lifecycle. You will help in minimizing risk exposure and protect ABB's commercial business interests from tender submission to contract completion, ensuring all contract management activities are executed in accordance with ABB's policies and regulations. In this exciting role you will report to Business Line Finance Manager. The position is based in Sweden, but location can be flexible. You will work with Swedish as well as international customers and contracts.

Your responsibilities
You will be a key resource for our business success.
You will enforce and defend ABB's contractual interests with customers and suppliers during the whole project lifecycle including monitoring and assessment of changes and deviations.
You get to work in close collaboration with legal and integrity colleagues, review and comment on commercial and technical tender terms and conditions; collect all input and comment to complete the bid; participate in risk reviews and support in any potential legal procedure.
You develop negotiation strategy together with legal and integrity and support negotiations with customers both during the tender stage and during project execution.
You identify the contract baseline and highlight areas of potential risk, opportunity, integrity or human rights topics and formal contract requirements to ensure effective contract handover from sales to project management.
You will work together with project & supply managers to ensure timely, accurate and complete fulfilled of contractual obligations and ensure there are no responsibilities outstanding; analyses contract terms to highlight areas of potential opportunity and risk and supports to ensure accurate communications and notices are sent to customers and/or suppliers.
As a part of the Division and Business Area contract management team you drive initiatives and shares knowledge, experience, and best practices within the contract management communities.
Your background
We are looking for an experienced contract manager with an independent and solution-oriented working style, as well as very strong communicative and collaborative skills.
While you have superior attention to detail, structure and organizational skills, you are also able to apply a" big picture" view to projects and take a risk-based approach.
You independently take initiative, make decisions and drive projects to conclusion but at the same time know when to seek support and advice.
You are not afraid to push back, while your high degree of inter-cultural sensitivity and integrity enable you to lead by influence and maintain strong relationships.
You have a business, commercially driven, pragmatic mindset and you understand that good results are achieved in cooperation with the legal and integrity community, management, sales teams and internal experts.
The ideal candidate will have a university degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Business Administration, Law or an equivalent, plus a minimum of 5 years' experience in international contract management in the field of systems delivery for industrial customers throughout the project lifecycle.
Excellent oral and written English is required.
