The leaders mentor, train, and inspire individuals to lead, direct, and take responsibility for the business and operations by assisting in overcoming obstacles and facilitating team progress. The worldwide team members share responsibility and assist one another in driving global deliveries in the most effective, efficient, and enjoyable manner.
As a Senior Buyer, your responsibilities will include:
• Implementing purchasing strategies to meet the company's requirements for upcoming technologies and ideas.
• Ensuring that your supply base is well-managed and consists of financially stable and capable suppliers who support sustainability.
• Collaborating with the category team and stakeholders to plan and carry out supplier selections in line with agreed strategies.
• Ensure that contracts are accurate, finalized, and filed promptly.
• Ensure that all procurement deliveries are made on time before each project milestone.
• Work together with the category team and all parties involved to ensure that suppliers can meet requirements for capacity, quality, and timely delivery.
• Encourage suppliers and internal teams to improve business operations by identifying and implementing cost-saving opportunities in commercial, technical, and supply chain areas.
• Actively look for ways to improve the supply base while evaluating and addressing risks.
Requirements

Furthermore, the following requirements are necessary:
• A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in a relevant Purchasing role, including the sourcing activities mentioned above.
• Experience from supplier management and contract matters, with a track record of conducting data-driven negotiations and discussions.
• Appreciate working in teams while also taking ownership of tasks until completion.
• Proficient in organizing tasks, handling complex projects, and engaging with various stakeholders.
• Comfortable working in a global setting and impacting decision-makers.
• Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication.
