hela Sverige The Purchasing Controlling department (within Group Trucks Purchasing function) assures high quality data to help the Purchasing organization take the right decisions to achieve company strategic objectives. Controllers are taking a proactive approach by challenging Purchasing with qualitative performance analysis to point out areas which need to be improved.
Bought materials represent ~70% of truck standard cost of production. Monitoring this spend is crucial to secure group cost strategic objectives target. As Purchasing Senior Business Controller, you will be in charge of measuring, analyzing and challenging purchasing performance indicators. You will work in close collaboration with manufacturing controllers as well as with the team handling standard cost of sales process to secure accurate standard prices setting and anticipate variances. You will contribute to the yearly standard cost of sales process and be recognized as bought material business expert.
You will contribute to secure the CVA plants in Sweden and Russia variances accuracy through monthly monitoring of actuals and forecast estimates (Tuve, Umea, Kaluga 8 BSEK), you will also consolidate the purchasing variance impact for the Volvo Brand (spend 50 BSEK). You will be the business control interface for Vendor, Axle and transmission (spend 6.5 BSEK) and Electrical & Electronics (spend 5.5 BSEK) European departments. You will participate and contribute to the management team monthly performance review meetings.
You will report to the Director, production and service market cost controlling dept.
Responsibilities
You measure and analyze material price evolutions on your controlling scope. You use this business knowledge to forecast financial consequences in terms of material price variance and product cost impacts. You are responsible to produce forecast and perform monthly bridges on variances towards estimate.
As Business Control Interface, you act and are recognized as a finance business partner. You give guidance and support to the management team. You consolidate, synthesize and monthly present the department contribution to the group strategic objectives. You bring financial highlights to the decision-making process.
Close to the business but Independent, you safeguard integrity in purchasing activities and behaviors.
As part of a global team, you actively participate to best practice sharing activities and contribute to the development of tools and processes to the benefit of the entire team.

Background and Experience
• Master degree in Finance/Business control or successful past experiences in business control area
• 6 years minimum on a similar business control position in an international environment
