Would you like to be a part of an engaged and committed team within Sustainability Centre? We work with sustainable materials in the vehicles and are now looking for you who have long experience in working with metals from a sustainability perspective, preferable within the supplier chain to the automotive industry.
What you'll do
As a Senior Analysis Engineer with deep metallic knowledge you will be working with supporting the introduction of more recycled and sustainable metals. You will do this by collaborating with our developers, balancing material choices from a sustainability perspective and help designing components for the ability to recycle our materials at end-of-life. You will do this by internal requirement setting and working together with procurement. Our focus is to start with steel, aluminium, copper and magnesium.
You and Your Skills
We see that you have competence within metallic materials, as well as 10 years work experience from metallic processing industry, or similar, or PhD and at least 5 years work experience. You have previous experience from selecting material in a big company.
Meritorious would be;
• Understanding of the complete supplier chain
• Understanding the influence recycled content has on material properties
• Work experience from circular flow of metallic materials and waste management
• Work experience in Life Cycle Assessment/Carbon Footprint
You have very strong communication skills in order to communicate the importance of including sustainability aspects in the design process. You are structured, solutions oriented and can take the lead. You are also a true team player with a pragmatic and holistic view. You have a drive to deliver, enjoy interacting with people and understand that collaboration will be key to make real impact.
