We are now looking for a Senior Airborne Electronics Hardware and Software Compliance Engineer to join our team in Gothenburg. Do you have experience from developing Airborne systems and want to contribute to a more sustainable future?
Your mission
The Senior Airborne Electronics Hardware and Software Compliance Engineer is responsible for ensuring compliance to Industry Standards guidance for Airborne Systems and Equipment deployed in the Company products across the Engineering organization.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Establish the Company Airborne Hardware and Software compliance policies
- Establish the Company Hardware and Software Development Processes
- Ensure Company Hardware and Software development processes comply with Industry Standards and Guidance material
- Create Company Plans for Hardware and Software Aspects of Certification
- Training of Company personnel involved in Airborne Hardware and Software development on complying Industry Standards
- Participate in the evaluation and auditing of Hardware and Software development processes of Suppliers
- Ensure the Hardware and Software development processes are aligned with the Company Safety process
You will report to the Head of Flight Controls. Your place of work will be at our main office located in Gothenburg, Sweden.
- Minimum 10 years' experience in developing Airborne systems
- Experience with safety-critical Airborne Hardware and Software development
- Experience with Aircraft development programs through the entire development & certification cycle (Part 23 or 25 Regulation)
- Experience with Airborne Software and Hardware Development Assurance Processes (ED-12C/DO-178C and ED-80/DO-254)
- Experience with Certification Authority 'Stage of Involvement' (SOI) Audit process for DO-178 and DO-254
- Familiarity with SAE ARP4754, ARP4761 Guidance
- Experience working in Start-up company environment is a merit
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills in English
- Eagerness to work within a team environment and other teams
- Passion for aircraft and electrification of the Aviation Industry
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science
