Over the course of the past five years, we have grown to a business of over 700 Instaboxers united by a single purpose: providing the smoothest shipping experience known to man. We're super fast, both in terms of parcel delivery and when it comes to growing our business. At this very moment, we are in the middle of an exciting expansion phase and are setting up an in-house accounting team. For this team, we are looking for a Senior Accountant and we hope that special someone, might be you.
What you will be doing
As a Senior Accountant at Instabox, you will make sure that we have correct accounting and effective processes. You will be a part of a team of four including two financial controllers, and one senior accountant, and one Head of Accountant which you will also report to. To succeed it's important that you have experience or a strong interest in setting up new systems. We're a fast-growing company so the tasks and assignments will shift with short notice, but this will be your main focus:
• Monthly financial reporting
• Responsible for monthly and annual accounts
• Provide financial data to the company in an expedient and accurate manner
• Bookkeeping and preparation of financial statements, statutory reporting including annual reports, income tax returns, and VAT.
• Inventory accounting
• Ensuring the quality of accounting and reporting.
• Account reconciliation and transaction monitoring.
• Cooperate with colleagues, auditors, and other stakeholders.
• Help colleagues and support accountants in your team
• continue the development of Netsuite to optimize processes and routines
• Cash management
Who you are
We 're looking for someone exceptional. Someone that preferably has experience from a fast-growing company and someone that loves working in a fast-moving environment. In addition to being self-sufficient, being loyal, and attentive, we are also looking for those who can easily get into complex questions and are not afraid of taking their own initiative.
In addition to that we are also looking for you who have:
• Master degree in accounting or finance
• 3-5+ years' experience in accounting/finance
• Experience with financial reporting requirements
• Experience in working in Netsuite
• Knowledge about IFRS and consolidation
Preferred
• Ability to think creatively, problem solve and work independently
• You are detail orientated and a high level of pride in your work
• Proven ability working in a fast-paced, team environment with experience of developing processes and routines to streamline and improve working methods and flows
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills
• Solid written communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a virtual environment
