Together with our customer, Western Union, we are looking for a Senior Accountant who will be responsible to perform a variety of complex tasks in general areas of accounting.
Main responsibilities and tasks:
• Produce a high quality, professional and proactive day to day accounting booking, reconciliations and reporting
• Ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met
• Participate and coordinate timely production of financial statements (balance sheets, income statements and tax submissions) and support management during financial accounting close cycle
• Prepare Consolidated Accounting, Financial Accounting, Intercompany Fixed Assets, US GAAP and Statutory Reporting.
• Prepare, compiles and analyzes Monthly consolidated reporting
• Active Participation in Ad-Hoc Projects
Candidate experience
You have several years of relevant experience preferably in a multinational environment and operational accounting / audit. You have experience in working to tight deadlines and of working in a service driven, customer focused environment. Knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP is a plus. You have a university degree in business administration and accounting. You are fluent in English and Swedish. Knowledge of other languages is an advantage.

It's important that you are a highly motivated and self-driven person with ability to work to tight deadlines and to prioritize work. You are a judgment and problem-solving person with excellent communication skills. You are a planning and organizing person with attention to detail and accuracy.
