Within the new Business Unit called H&M Lifestyle Brands, we are building and developing the new H&M Sports brand, which will apply the strong heritage of H&M to the sports fashion industry. This will unlock hidden opportunities for growth and will add excitement and energy to our current offer.
Job Description
Do you want to be key players in our new global sports brand? We look for one Section Head to our Womens H&M Sport, Stockholm, Sweden. Are you a strategic visionary and an inspirational experienced leader with great track record from the fashion sports retail business? If so, then this might be the right role for you!
H&M Sport will be run essentially as a start-up within the H&M Group and as such, the Section Head role requires a broad, entrepreneurial and highly agile growth mindset. You will be part of building a new brand, adapting and finding innovative ways of working in a creative, entrepreneurial and diverse environment.
You will be responsible for ensuring the best well-coordinated assortment for our global target customer. You are responsible for actively leading great teams in all channels - this means to motivate, coach, develop, clarify expectations, identify talent and work with competence development. You have staff responsibility and you will ensure the best method and organization planning.
As a successful Section Head you are result oriented, you always seek new business opportunities and have a strong logical and strategic, yet flexible approach. You are a natural leader who are confident in influencing and engaging others. You see the overall picture and have constantly our customer 's perspective in mind. You are well-organized, love to collaborate with different teams with strong and clear communications skills. You have a global, curious mindset and a genuine passion for, and preferably experience from, sportswear and/or fashion retail.
Qualifications
Minimum of 2-3yrs as Section Head or similar level in fashion retail, preferably sports sector
Strong proven leadership skills
An entrepreneurial salesmanship mindset
Strong commercial thinking
A great interest in and knowledge from fashion and global sports assortment
Great analytic skills and is structured and organized
A growth mindset
Strong communication skills
You are a team player who also works well independently
A positive mindset and always see possibilities, improvements and simple solutions
Fluent in English (written and spoken, Swedish not necessary)
