Risk Control Analyst

Risk Analysis and Control is a part of Group Treasury & IR which is Volvo Car Groups internal bank and responsible for the financial risk management and Investor Relations. This includes all funding activities and risk management of currency, interest rates, commodity price and insurance. Group Treasury & IR is also responsible for all cash management activities within the Group and the asset management of our Pension Funds.

Risk Analysis and Control is responsible for risk control of formal Group Treasury policy requirements for Volvo cars, risk measurement methodology, analysis of financial risks and has an overall responsibility for Treasury related systems. As a Risk Control Analyst within the department of Risk Analysis and Control your main responsibilities includes analysis, measurement and reporting of financial risks and performance analysis.

Main responsibilities

• Take active part in developing hedging models for efficient foreign exchange, interest and commodity price risk management.

• Analyse and improve methods for measuring exposures and valuation of financial instruments

• Participate in enhancing risk analysis and reporting processes

• Participate in Treasury System development and implementation

• Monitor, follow up, analyze and report interest, foreign exchange and counterparty risk

• Follow up and analyse performance/result for the Treasury department

• Participate and run different projects in order to develop the Group Treasury Organisation

Required qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Business Administration or Engineering

• 2 to 5 year's relevant work experience

• Good knowledge in valuation of financial instruments

• Experience from market risk analysis, quantitative risk analysis and Treasury Systems

• Fluent in spoken and written English

• Excellent computer knowledge and proficiency in Excel
