About the role
As Solution Architect at Sitoo, you will have a critical role in designing and implementing advanced retail solutions for our clients, empowering them to revolutionize their operations and provide exceptional customer experiences.
Responsibility
As a Retail Solution Architect at Sitoo, you will be responsible for collaborating with customers and internal stakeholders to understand their business requirements and design innovative and scalable retail solutions using the Sitoo platform. You will develop comprehensive solution architectures that encompass hardware, software, integrations, and data flows.
Additionally, you will serve as a subject matter expert on the Sitoo platform and related retail technologies, staying updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously enhance solution designs and recommend improvements. You will engage with clients and prospects during the sales cycle to provide technical expertise, deliver solution presentations, and address their specific requirements.
You will also collaborate closely with project managers, developers, and implementation teams to ensure successful delivery of retail solutions, providing technical guidance and support throughout the implementation process, customization, and integration.
Finally, you will create solution documentation, including architecture diagrams, solution specifications, and best practice guidelines, and foster a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing within the team and across the organization, contributing to the development and improvement of internal processes, methodologies, and tools related to solution architecture and implementation.
Profile
The ideal candidate for the Solution Architect role at Sitoo should have a solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into practical and scalable solution designs.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are also essential, with a focus on delivering innovative and customer-centric solutions.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required, with the ability to effectively present technical concepts to diverse audiences.
The candidate should also be a team player, with a proven track record of collaborating effectively in cross-functional teams, including project managers, developers, and implementation specialists.
The ability to work in a fast-paced and agile environment, managing multiple priorities and delivering results on time, is also important.
Requirements
• 5+ years of experience in solution architecture, software engineering, or technical consultancy, with a focus on retail or commerce solutions.
• Familiarity with the retail industry, including point-of-sale systems, inventory management, e-commerce, and omnichannel retailing is also required.
• Additionally, the candidate should have strong knowledge of retail technologies, cloud-based solutions, APIs, and integrations, as well as proficiency in architectural frameworks such as microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with web technologies, databases, and programming languages is a plus. The candidate should also have experience in client-facing roles, providing technical demonstrations and engaging with stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Relevant certifications in solution architecture, cloud computing, or retail technologies are considered advantageous.
Language
Proficiency in Swedish language is mandatory, as well as excellent verbal and written English skills.
