We are looking for a Research Engineer with strong focus on laboratory work to the Chemistry & Consumables section within the Purification and Analysis R&D department. The section is responsible for the development and support of various products primarily within the Protein prep and purification area and Biacore. The candidate will be working with column packing of chromatography resins, method development and application work.
Essential Responsibilities
In this role you will:
As part of a team, plan and deliver the team's commitments
Perform laboratory investigations - on your own or as a team - through planning, execution and analysis of results
Improve old and develop new column packing methods
Take part in defining customer needs and verifying them
Report results both orally at internal meetings and in writing, e.g. eNotebook, technical reports.

Qualifications/Requirements
MSc or BSc in biochemistry, analytical chemistry or similar areas
Theoretical knowledge and practical experience regarding protein purification and characterization
Curious and interested in learning new techniques
Flexible, accurate and structured team-player
Excellent communication skills
English and Swedish as working languages
Desired Characteristics
Experience of column packing
Documented experience of product development work
Statistical analysis experience, DOE software experience
