hela Sverige Role Summary/Purpose:
We are looking for a research engineer to the Single Use Applications section within the Consumables Upstream & ReadyToProcess department. The Applications section is responsible for verification and validation of our products as well as product care and market support. This position is focused at verification and validation of our equipment in the Upstream and ReadyToProcess segment, in particular with column packing. Depending on the on-going project the task/area might vary over time.
Essential Responsibilities:
Perform column packing of single use chromatography columns*
Perform functional verification of systems
Develop methods and methodology for verification and applications
Report and present results orally and/or in writing
To independently plan and accomplish given tasks from Project Manager or Section Manager, to reach given project objectives
To independently solve problems of "trouble shooting character" in project work
To individually or in co-operation with others, improve old, and develop and/or invent new methods, applications, products, components, accessories, software and the like, which can be patentable
The work involves international contacts as well as a close relation with other departments/sections within the company.
• Work will involve physical activities like lifting and handling of heavy equipment.

Qualifications/Requirements:
MSc or similar competence in Biochemistry, Biotechnology or related area.
Relevant professional experience from similar role:
Technically skilled and experience from HW verification.
Skills in chromatography system operation.
Skills in chromatography column packing.
English and Swedish as a working language.
Excellent computer skills and ability to work in both general and internal systems.
EU work permit.
Desired Characteristics:
The work is conducted in cooperation with specialists within mechanical/electrical construction, SW development why it is desirable for applicants to have interest and insight in these areas to secure development of robust systems that work as intended.

Experience from working in GLP/GMP environment
