Roles and Responsibilities
We are looking for a release manager with a structured way of working and with a strong quality mindset. You enjoy working with complex matters while striving for order and simplification.
You love to take on challenges with a true can-do attitude and can work under demanding conditions and at the same time create a great working climate. You will be responsible for evolving the release process as well as coordination with CI/CD pipeline. You will also act as the PRCO (Product Regulation Compliance Owner) for the regulations we are responsible for. Your daily responsibilities include:
A leading role for our software release process and managing the deliveries
Working close with the development Scrum teams to monitor and measure progress to ensure delivery on time and with expected content and quality.
Participate in streamlining our CI/CD pipeline.
Researching software development and configuration management methodologies and technologies and analyzing how we best apply them in our scope.
Relevant Experience
This position is about communication, leadership, and collaboration including individual technical knowledge. The ability to quickly grasp new concepts and translate knowledge from a technical to business audience and back, or between technical teams working in different areas, is most important.
You are passionate in release process for embedded software products. You have experience in technical leadership and are used to take responsibility. You have been working in an agile organization and have the agile mindset. We expect you to have:
Master's degree in Electronics/Computer Engineering or equivalent education
Minimum 5 years working experience in software development, preferably in the domain of configuration management or software release processes
Experience from working in application of digital solutions and data analytics to improve flow and efficiency
High competence in communication and networking
We consider experience from vehicle product development to be a merit.
