Railway Signalling Certification and Authorisation Manager
in Stockholm we're looking for?
Your future role:
Take on a new challenge and apply your Railway Signalling Certification and Authorisation expertise in a new cutting-edge field.
Alstom has the majority of the contracts to equip the fleets in Sweden, Norway and Denmark with the new European signalling system ERTMS. Your task will be to support the corresponding installation projects, a role that will develop to all Certification and Authorisation activities for Alstom in the Nordic region. The position is based in Stockholm, Sweden and will have contacts within Alstom and the railway industry all over Europe.
This position is for you who already have experience with railway system authorisations. You are familiar with the EU railway directives, TSIs, CSM-RA, the regulation on practical arrangements for the railway vehicle authorisation, and the ERA One Stop Shop. You will work closely with your manager to build the support of the Norwegian projects from Stockholm. You will also be responsible for supporting junior C&A engineers in learning the craft of railway C&A.
If needed it will be possible to get support from your line manager in growing into the role. Preparation of the training management Plan.
We will look to you:
To plan, execute, and improve the efficiency of the certification and authorisation work.
To be the interface between Certification and Authorisation towards the Engineering part of Alstom, the clients, and the authorities in member states and the EU.
To perform operative work and lead the work C&A engineers.
To participate in the strategic discussions of the Nordics C&A team and contribute to the development of internal tools and bid work.

Fluent English is mandatory. Swedish, Norwegian, or Danish is a big plus.
Master of Engineering or similar experience.
At least two years, preferably more, of experience from working with certification and authorisation, preferably in the railway signalling domain.
Be a good report writer, good at reading complex texts, have an interest in understanding the complete picture,
Capable of identifying the relevant details and disregarding the other details,
Good and flexible communication skills to be used both internally and externally.
Interested in mentoring junior employees.
Knowledge of the railway industry in general, and the railway signalling industry in particular, is a plus.
