We are looking for a Senior Test Manager within Common Radio Module sector at Product Development Unit Radio eager to work with test strategy for state of art Radio products covering all mobile generations. CRM sector is responsible for developing and implementing Radio software Test strategy and Test management team is spread across all Radio development sites.
As a Senior Test Manager, position holder is encouraged to take ownership for test analysis, coordination, and test execution support through mandates and responsibilities outlined below. One will work as part of a diverse test management team to develop strategies, drive initiatives, assess new opportunities, and utilize synergies.
What you will do
You have experience from test management and eager to understand how it all fits together to ensure that all requirements are fulfilled before delivering a product. You know how to take complex problems and explain/describe them so that more people can understand and break them down such that solving them becomes straightforward. You are organized and self-motivated and able to turn ideas into concrete solutions. Experience in leading a team can be very crucial for this role as you have to work with group of TMs and prioritize the work.
Responsibilities
Assures that the flow unit 'a feature' goes through its life cycle ' Early Phase - development - maintenance' with the most efficient test coverage focusing on flow and quality of the unit and the product.
Support Study Driver with testability and test related aspects in early phases (Feature/SP/solution/product pre-study)
Manage and facilitate pre-OTAC/OTAC and define the overall test scope, including legacy
Build, align, deploy, and enforce test strategy
Evolve test WoW (propose, drive, support improvements)
Ensure early test and development tool strategy and build tool requirements
Coordinate between different product / production fora, projects with RA, and other programs.
Assures the legacy verification has efficient test coverage with an appropriate risk level.
Educates the organization on test strategy and efficient testing.
Test manager is accountable for Reviewing legacy test coverage (HW and test cases) and drive CI flow optimization within module program.
Support teams within Module program to Optimize legacy content and enhance test flow by introducing new technology/tools
Support Feature/SP TM with module level legacy impact introduced by new feature and module level test analysis for new feature.
Support XFT for module OTAC/DTAC.
You will bring
Education: M.Sc. or equivalent.
Min years of experience: 5 years for experience with testing or test management,
Testing, troubleshooting, problem solving, E2E & system thinking
HW & SW integration methodologies
Leadership (previous OPO, team lead, or customer engagement experience is a plus)
Lean and Agile knowledge and skills, value driven development attitude, testability and test-driven development
Working with people, networking, facilitation, negotiation skills. Teamwork and collaboration skills
Excellent technical communication skills, both written and oral
Fluent in English
To be successful in the role one must have
Good system knowledge - Radio (HW, SW) portfolio and functions, JCAT & test automation, CI/CD.
Good knowledge of eNodeB / gNodeB, transport network protocols & interfaces, NSV QA's.
Product development processes and methods, anatomy-based planning, product lifecycle management knowledge
Ability to perform test analysis, evaluate test results, and produce a verdict
