We are now looking for a R&D Controller to our global customer within the automotive industry for a highly meritorious consulting assignment. Publiceringsdatum2016-10-05Dina arbetsuppgifterGlobally the main responsibilities are to follow the Americas & EMEA Q&CS KPIs, to support the brands to set up its warranty surcharges for North and South America's markets for the annual Standard Costs Of Sales update, to support GTT in calculating the warranty surcharge impact in the different project phases and also to support the Q&CS teams to have/fill the correct data in its different data bases.
• Estimated Warranty Payment Analysis
• Work closely with Q&CS Warranty to understand claim data to forecast trend of warranty & cost per unit for complete vehicles
• Work closely with Brand Warranty Controllers supporting with estimated warranty cost per unit data for warranty provision analysis and warranty surcharge calculations
• Make "early warning" when payment and surcharge are not in balance
• Drive Cost Deployment process for Regional Q&CS EMEA & Americas and our costumer
• Coordinate the identification of process root cause and projects identification and follow-up for
• Interface with GTO for operations related warranty cost and the Brands for cost related to workshops, commercial goodwill, and other GTT departments for all supplier (Purchasing) and design (PD) related warranty cost.
• Develop a project follow-up process
• Set warranty targets per product
• Coordinate that quality targets and financial targets & estimates are aligned
• Validate project warranty surcharge calculations
• Provide direction to R&D maintenance budget on product warranty cost gaps to targets
• Participate in GTT Q&CS Controller network and work on "global" initiatives and activities in support of Q&CS objectives
• Coordinate the investment needs within Region Americas and Warranty/TMA
• Effectively communicate the financial KPI's, main quality (warranty) cost issues, and other areas of concern to the manager Quality & CS Business control and the VP Regional Q&CS EMEA & Americas
• Develop operating expense forecasts & estimates and provide related analysis
Utbildning/erfarenhet
Experience:
• At least three years of experience with cost controlling or cost analysis, managing projects or data analysis
• Also possible, successful experience in Engineering, Purchasing or Manufacturing
• You have experiences from driving change initiatives in an international environment and you are result and process oriented. You have been specifically successful in driving initiatives related to business control
Qualifications:
• Solid Computer skills; Microsoft Office advanced knowledge is mandatory (ideally macros) and preferably BCS, SAP R/3 or Qraft
• Knowledge in finance
• Result and process oriented
• Fluent in English
• Networking capabilities
• Change Management
• Cross functional work
• Ability to coach and drive
• Good at communication
• Proven ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
• University degree in business, finance, engineering or equivalent
