This position reports to: Business Manager - Operations
Your Role and Responsibilities
Are you passionate about driving a strong quality culture, shaping effective systems, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction? At ABB, we are looking for an experienced Quality Manager to lead our local quality strategy, strengthen our processes end-to-end, and guide our organization toward world-class performance. In this role, you will be part of the management team and play a key part in shaping the future of quality across our operations.
Lead and deploy the local quality strategy in alignment with ABB's quality management system, policy, and business goals.
Drive a strong quality culture focused on prevention, continuous improvement, and robust root-cause analysis.
Establish a closed-loop quality cycle spanning product development to customer feedback, ensuring customer expectations are met or exceeded.
Implement and develop quality systems, processes, and tools based on identified risks and opportunities.
Execute an effective audit program and use quality data analytics to identify trends, non-conformances, and improvement opportunities.
Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure customer requirements are embedded into product and process design.
Lead resolution of customer issues through structured problem-solving and preventive/corrective actions.
Qualifications for the Role
5-10 years of experience within quality management in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of quality systems, standards, and tools, with experience in audits, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies.
Demonstrated ability to lead change, influence stakeholders, and drive cross-functional collaboration.
Experience building and developing high-performing teams and supporting a strong quality and safety culture.
Proven ability to translate customer expectations into operational requirements and sustainable improvements.
Skilled in data-driven decision-making and using analytics to identify risks, failures, and improvement areas.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to support management in demonstrating leadership and commitment to quality.
