Zinzino is growing, and we need to further strengthen our organization and are now seeking a Quality Manager to join our Product Team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the quality and compliance of our products throughout the development process. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including R&D, regulatory affairs, production, and supply chain to uphold quality standards, drive continuous improvement, and meet customer expectations. Your focus will be on ensuring products meet all safety, efficacy, and regulatory standards while aligning with the company's commitment to delivering top-tier nutritional products.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Assurance in Product Development

• Oversee the quality aspects of new product development from concept through to launch, ensuring products meet all regulatory, safety, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with R&D to ensure that formulations and ingredients comply with quality specifications.
• Review product specifications, raw materials, and ingredient certificates to ensure conformity with safety standards.

Quality Process Development

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality processes for product development, including risk management, change control, and corrective action systems.
• Define and monitor key quality performance indicators (KPIs) during the product development cycle to ensure timely and effective problem resolution.

Vendor & Supplier Management

• Conduct quality assessments and audits of ingredient suppliers and contract manufacturers.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure they meet company quality standards and resolve any quality issues.

Compliance & Regulatory Oversight

• Ensure products comply with relevant nutritional, safety, and labelling regulations (e.g., FDA, EFSA, GMP) for domestic and international markets.
• Stay current with industry regulations and standards, updating internal processes as necessary to maintain compliance.

Continuous Improvement

• Identify and implement quality improvement initiatives within product development and production.
• Lead root cause analysis investigations for product quality issues and drive corrective and preventive actions.

Qualifications:


• Minimum a bachelor's degree in food science, Nutrition, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in quality management within the nutrition, food, or pharmaceutical industries.
• Strong knowledge of quality systems (GMP, HACCP, ISO standards) and regulatory frameworks (FDA, EFSA, etc.).
• Experience with product development processes and working with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working with dietary supplements, nutraceuticals, or functional foods.
• Certification in quality management (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Manager, Six Sigma) is a plus.
