Powertrain Installation is one of four development departments within Powertrain, who mainly focus on development within five areas: Engine Mounts, Exhaust System, Air Induction System, Cooling System, and Fuel System. The function of the Fuel Systems is to store fuel, corresponding to a certain driving range and to supply fuel with correct pressure, flow and temperature to the engine. The group Distribution develops competitive Fuel and SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) distribution systems including pumps, filters, software, CAE models in a complex variant system. Our goal is to provide the engine with fuel according to the right demands on flow cleanliness and pressure. We are also involved in calibration of the distribution and how the customer will see the fuel level.
We are looking for a Quality Leader to work with us meeting new challenges within the Fuel distribution and SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) system. You will be leading our quality work with the ambition to continue our journey against zero faults. The work consist of performing quality analyses, vehicle testing and project leader for running changes. You will work within a complex technical area together with inspired and curious people.
Main responsibilities
• Lead and analyse the quality situation
• Lead running changes for both cost and quality items
• Report status on quality items to QAL and QRM
• Perform investigations theoretical and in physical testing
• Work with quality roadmap (prediction and countermeasures)
• Work with supplier during analyse and implementation phase
Required qualifications
• Master degree or equivalent in Mechanical engineering or equivalent
• 2-3 years of working experience within relevant field
• Technical interest
• Driving license
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)
• Knowledge in hydraulic systems and calibration is meritorious
• Documented project leadership, green belt or black belt certification is an asset
• Previous work with quality items and vehicle testing is meritorious
Personal qualities
• You are driven, proactive and analytical
• You have good communication and co-operation skills
• You have good ability to independently plan, implement and follow up your work towards overall objectives
• You are a technically interested with a problem solving mindset
