We're searching for an experienced quality assurer, to be situated in Uppsala, Sweden. Dirac's sound optimization tools and technologies are used by audio and acoustics professionals as well as consumers throughout the world. The professional users mainly work with audio and acoustics product development for Home, Automotive, and Mobile platforms. These users have very different and specific requirements on how the tools behave to suit their needs. Ease of use has to be combined with the right amount of user controls.
As a quality assurance manager, you are responsible for the quality of the product throughout its lifecycle, from requirements to testing, documentation and maintenance. You will define and implement our quality assurance process, which requires close coordination with other team members and good communication skills. Your responsibilities will be:
• By implementing the right processes, ensure that for each and every project Dirac delivers with the right quality
• Create, implement and maintain our QA process and methodology
• Write test cases
• Perform tests
• Lead internal and external testers
• Report to internal and external instances
For this position, you must have very good skills in the following areas:
• At least 3 years of experience in testing and QA
• Interested in requirements and testing
• Strong skills and experience in technical documentation
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English in both spoken and written
• Goal-oriented, structured and analytical
On top of that, the following skills and experiences are nice to have:
• Experience from Test Link
• Experience from Redmine
• Interest in sound and music
