The role
As an QHSE Engineer you will be responsible for developing standards for safe & healthy workplaces in sites under NKT control. You will be required to ensure internal HSE resources according to legal requirements and to develop QHSE mindset and culture.
You will also be responsible for the monitoring & implementation of applicable legal requirements and for the implementation of local Integrated Management System requirements, which must meet quality and certification in ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 for Installation.
The position also includes
• Aid in HSE risk assessment and define countermeasures
• Implementation of Group QHSE policies
• Leading HSE improvements
• Inspection of workplace conditions
• Prepare tender documentation where required
• Organization and conducting of HSE trainings
• Accidents investigation and tracking of C&P actions
• Active cooperation with HSE Excellence and QHSE ECO
You will be based in Karlskrona in the southern part of Sweden and part of a highly skilled team located in Netherlands, Germany and Denmark with great possibilities for personal development and specialization.
Your profile
Preferable you have an Engineering degree with specialization in Health, Safety, Environment and swedish qualifications to work as an independent QHSE analyst/specialist. You need to have at least 5 years QHSE experience, in manufacturing environment preferably. If you in addition have offshore experience this is meritorious.
Skills in Signavio is beneficial.
Since you will communicate strategies and implementation plans we expect you to have excellent communication skills and you need to be fluent in English. German is a plus.
