Nasdaq Technology is looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Test Specialist to join the QA organization in Nasdaq's Nordic technology center in Stockholm. The individual must have in depth knowledge of manual testing or test automation. In the QA organization, we are currently a hundred people supporting the technologies that drive Exchanges, Clearing Houses and Central Securities Depositories (CSD's) around the world. Examples of the growing customer base are financial institutions in Australia, Singapore, Turkey, Indonesia and Hong Kong.

We are working with interesting and complex products with very high quality requirements. You will be part of this by joining a highly qualified cross-functional scrum team consisting of Business Analysts, Software Developers and Test Engineers and will be responsible for taking new functions through all steps in our QA process. We work in close cooperation with our customers and this role will support them in early customer testing and acceptance testing.

The role entails responsibilities such as:
• Create execute and maintain tests according to test scripts and test plans
• Review system requirements and business processes; codes, tests, and debug software solutions
• Ensure that all problems are resolved and that software meets or exceeds specified standards, development specifications and client requirements
• Create test data files with valid and invalid records to thoroughly test program logic and verify system flow.
• Plan test phases to ensure that applicable test phases are successfully completed and documented and there is a plan for problem resolution

Education, Professional accomplishments, and Certifications:
• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline, or equivalent work experience
• Several years of experience within QA testing

Skills and Requirements:
• Knowledge in agile test approaches and the software development life cycle
• Ability to create and document test strategy, test plan and test cases
• Good knowledge of Risk, Pricing domain within Clearing
• Experience creating defect reports and documenting test results
• Strong knowledge of tools such as HP ALP, JIRA, Confluence
• Experience or interest in Model Based Testing
• Experience from the financial industry
• Good knowledge about Exchange Clearing functionalities
• Financial products especially derivative products knowledge will be a big merit
• MS Excel for mathematic calculation and data analyzing purpose
