Till vår kund inom tung fordonsindustri söker vi nu en Product Modification Leader (PML)

Job description:
We are looking for a person who can take on the challenge as Product Modification Leader. In this role you will report to a global decision forum which is set up to include all business regions. At least once a week we meet and discuss our ongoing and global projects. Your main tasks will be to run the projects according to our customers Global Development Process.

Your job will mainly consist of establishing and leading cross functional teams, with members from Product Development, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Parts, Global Customer Support, external suppliers and other functions. You will have budget responsibility for your projects and conduct project meetings, design reviews and follow up project activities.

After gate audits you present project progress to the steering committee. As a project leader you are responsible for the whole project delivery in terms of time, technology and cost. When needed, you will get support from the Steering Committee, however what we are looking for (ideally) is a person who has the strength and skill to drive the projects from start to end on his/her own.

Qualifications and personality:
The person we are looking for has a University degree in Engineering and proven experience as project leader from the Automotive Business. It is an advantage if you have solid technical experience from the heavy duty segment.

You must be able to drive your own work forward. You know the processes around both product development and the customer adaptation process. Fluent English, both written and spoken. You also need to be a good presenter in steering committees and other foras. A big plus is to have electrical SW and HW knowledge or/and telematics knowledge combined with some mechanical engineering.
