The global team for Advanced / OEM Purchasing is organized in product category oriented teams. The Project Sourcing Manager for the assigned product category is responsible for all purchasing related topics in the new product development process for assigned projects, within frames and support from Commodity Management.
Publiceringsdatum2011-05-05Dina arbetsuppgifter• Work to ensure purchasing is an integrated part of every new product development project as assigned, and that purchasing is involved at an early stage
• Manage project sourcing including supplier pre-qualification, enquiry compilation, tendering and contract award in interaction with commodity management
• Manage supplier relations and secure commercial agreements in the product development cycle to ensure secured cost, quality, time-to-market as well as launch readiness project targets are met
• Capture Category needs related to purchasing and feed to commodity management so that future demand requirements are understood and transferred, ensuring timely solutions
• For OEM products related to the product category, be responsible for commodity management, including strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, performance management, and contract management
Utbildning/erfarenhet
You have a BS degree or equivalent background & experience and five years or more of site experience quote and Purchasing administration. You are fluent in Swedish and English, written and oral, additional languages are an advantage.
Crucial skills for this position:
• Deep insights in the product creation process and the value purchasing and suppliers can bring in that process
• Ability to define a vision and strategy for purchasing in the product creation process
• Deep insights in the purchasing environment for the relevant product category; sufficient to analyze business purchasing issues, recommend solutions and strategies and implement changes
• Strong planning, organization, analytical, and problem solving skills
• Knowledge of the strategic sourcing methodology and its application in for example fact based negotiations and cross functional team collaboration
• Knowledge and experience with software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office) including presentation and database applications
• Written and verbal communications skills
• Strong interpersonal skills (e.g., tact/diplomacy, listening, negotiation, etc)
• Understanding the importance of customer service and internal stakeholder management
