Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.

Do you like challenges and do you want to deliver world leading vehicles for the future?

If you are also driven, structured, independent and like to lead teams in a fast-moving environment, this can be a job for you!

We are the project office for developing control systems for our future engines and after treatment, and we are working on developing sustainable transports, ranging from hybrid technology, electric batteries to conventional powertrain and alternative fuels.

Your work assignments
As a leader you are the spider in the network in the development of our new products. You lead the cross-functional work and have many contact areas within Scania, but also with external partners.

As a leader in our field, you will be working with exciting future projects (common project within VW T & B, but also together with Navistar and other collaborators) aimed at further increasing Scania's competitiveness. This is a job with varying tasks that involves a lot of responsibility as you run and report the entire department's project deliveries, which include developing steering systems for trucks, bus and industrial and marine engines.

Your profile
You like to take initiative and lead teams to deliver results and to solve project problems. As a person, you are engaged, structured and like a high pace. You have courage, you are outgoing and have good ability to develop and maintain a wide network of contacts at all levels, and you are comfortable presenting and reporting to larger groups.

We are looking for a candidate with a master of engineering with proven leadership experience and with interest in new technology. If you have experience from project management, we consider this to be very much appreciated.

We offer
We offer an interesting and challenging job where there is plenty of scope for new ideas. Our corporate culture is characterised by openness, diversity and respect for the individual. Employees are our most important resource, so we invest in training our employees and giving them the opportunity to broaden their skills in order to be able to grow with us.

We offer Scania employees and their families free access to our complete fitness centre. We can offer you Scania Job Express, a direct bus that runs between Stockholm and Södertälje. You can also enjoy other benefits such as an option to sign an agreement for an employee car, flexible working hours, lunch benefits at reduced prices and much more.

We look forward to receiving your application!
