Location: Sweden/Smedjebacken/Non-ferrous Solutions
We are looking for a Project Manager to strengthen our grinding mills project team. You will report to Manager - Grinding Mill Deliveries, Espoo and your location will be Smedjebacken, Sweden. The primary responsibility of the Project Engineer/Manager is to, in collaboration with all other members of the grinding mill project implementation team, deliver Grinding Mill Projects on time, within budget and to required specifications and quality.
Your responsibilities:
As a Project Manager you will have the responsibility for implementation of Project Management procedures and principles. The Project Manager is responsible for the preparation of cost control reports and forecasts for projects. You will evaluate and select suppliers and contractors in cooperation with our supply organization.
As a Project Manager you also have responsibility for:
• Inspection and expediting of equipment for projects
• Preparation of project work schedules, monthly reports, shipping lists & packing requirements
• Implementation of policies and procedures for Occupational Health, Safety and the Environment & Quality Assurance
• Liaison with clients and Engineering to ensure that actual or potential quality related deficiencies are resolved
• Preparation of Installation, Operating and Maintenance Manuals and MDRs
• Interact with client and suppliers to ensure correct information is made available on time throughout the project execution.
• Preparation for Lessons learned meetings and hand over of the projects to Service organization
Our expectations:
We are looking for a Project Manager with an educational background in mechanical engineering.
You have at least 2 years of work experience within project management or engineering. International experience is an asset. Suitable candidates probably have documented experience in heavy engineering industry and related workshop operations.
As an individual you are a structured, goal oriented and co-operative team player with ability to manage different tasks. Good written and communication skills in technical English is required. As a project manager you also should have the ability to travel.
The role as Project Manager is collaborative and requires the ability to interact with many people in and outside the organization.
