For our CEE aftermarket division in Västerås, we are currently looking to recruit a Project Manager for larger modification projects
Purpose of the Job
This is a Project Management opportunity in a growing business, where you would be working with very well-known and very important products: trains.
The Project Manager leads the Project Core Team in the successful completion of their assigned tasks within schedule, allocated budgets and scope to the required quality.
She/he should also have excellent stakeholder management capabilities. The managed projects involve many customers, as well as many sub-supplier contacts.
The Project Manager is responsible for adapting his/her leadership and motivational skills to the project, the team or individual?s capabilities and knowledge, the time and tools available and the results desired. (S)he will develop ?must do? strategies to increase team effectiveness and the belief that ?none of us is as good as all of us?, in order to help the team go through the distinct stages of ?forming, storming, norming, and performing?.
Key Responsibilities and Challenges:
• Responsible of Budget Allocation, as well as Profit & Loss.
• Responsible for Project Reporting internally (in terms of status and financial performance).
• Responsible for management of all communication with the Customers.
• Responsible for the WBS, Detailed Project Schedule, JDDP, Customer Interface, Project Risk, Opportunity and Improvement Management, Project Launch (Including the Orange Book), Change Management and Contractual Obligation Management.
• Reports to Head of ALM Projects at CESER in Sweden
• It is also the mandate of the Project Manager to adapt the allocation of work packages between the roles and the day-to-day delegation of special tasks to the Project CoreTeam members in order to optimize the total project.
Qualifications:
• Minimum Bachelor?s Degree, preferably in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 10 years of experience post graduate
• Minimum 4 years of leadership experience
• Experience of managing multiple external projects is a requirement (Project -Management, Bids, Sales, Contracts & Legal, Procurement, Engineering or Operations)
• Experience within rail industry and advantage but not a requirement
PMP/PMI certification is a strong plus
• Swedish and English fluency are mandatory
• Excellent communication skills, and a structured way of working
• Good customer relationship skills
