What you will be a part of
Support and Services, a business area of Saab, supplies a wide range of services and integrated support solutions to customers in defence and on commercial markets for cost-efficient support of systems and platforms throughout their life cycle.
Business Unit Airborne ISRAirborne ISR provides complete airborne surveillance solutions, aircraft integration and modifications, mission systems and customized integrated logistics support to the global market.Current customers operates mainly Saab 340 och Saab 2000 ERIEYE AEW&C aircraft but our surveillance systems including the Martitime Patrol system, Swordfish will also be integrated in other aircraft platforms.The Program/Bid operations department coordinates all bid work for the Business Unit and our Bid Managers carries the bid in all phases of the winning Business Process as well as packaging our offers and delivering to the customer.With expanding market opportunities and several ongoing projects we need to upgrade our resources in bid management with an experienced Bid Manager.
Your role
The Project Bid Manager coordinates Saab's business offer and committment from start to finish. All costs from participating departments are calculated, delivery times estimated and risk assesment performed. You will be part of a well defined bid team working closely with other Saab Business Areas and Support & Services Business Units as well as external partners.We are an open creative team with drive, knowledge and trust and Team ability and cooperation is the key to our sucess.
Your skills and experience
We are looking for a Project Bid Manager with major experience of project management or bid management in large scale integrations projects. The ability to understand complex cost structures with good knowledge in project economy is also required. You have a systematic mindset and focus on delivering mile stones.Good leadership qualities with the ability to build and maintain relations is also required as well a good communicating skills.You also need a Wide technical understanding with experience preferably also in aircraft or aircraft related Projects.
