Project Manager
You will be a part of Cambrex's newly formed Innovative Product Group (IPG). The IPG is a Cambrex wide function, whose remit is to identify products and to develop, best in class, scalable synthetic routes for our manufacturing facilities. This position is to be located at our facility in Karlskoga, Sweden and you will be reporting directly to the Vice President of New Products, located in the UK.
As Project Manager you will be responsible for the overall project management of the IPG. The responsibility starts from the point at which the product enters the research and development stage, until the product has been transferred to the designated site of manufacture within Cambrex or to a third party manufacturing partner. You will be developing project plans, and managing these plans in an organized and structured way to ensure they meet the ambitious commitments and goals of the IPG.
As the Project Manager you will also:
• lead the planning and implementations of projects
• facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables
• define projects tasks and resource requirements
• provide direction and support to project teams
• monitor and report on progress of the projects
• present reports defining project progress, problem and solutions
• present project evaluations and assessments of results.
The position requires travelling on a regular basis.
REQUIREMENTS
We believe you have an academic degree within Chemistry or Chemical engineering, and experience in the Pharmaceutical field. To be successful in this position you also need a broad understanding of project management in complex industry and proven experience in strategic planning. Experience of Lean Six Sigma is meritorious.
It is required that you have a strong command of English, both orally and written.
