Profile
SEI is seeking an experienced climate policy analyst and project manager to coordinate SEI's participation in two new European projects related to climate mitigation and adaptation, energy transition pathways, innovation and climate risk analysis.
Duties and responsibilities
Specifically, the successful applicants will be expected to, among other tasks:
Manage a Work Package on Innovation policies and transition pathways and participate in research and policy analysis within this Work Package;
Coordinate with other SEI researchers and with the consortium partners on research tasks, policy analyses, events, milestones, reporting and deliverables;
Be responsible for research, communication and outreach activities of the projects, including meetings, events and fieldwork;
Initiate and lead the preparation of relevant research and project reports to the SEI project leader, the Consortium leader and the European Commission;
Contribute to and, where appropriate, lead the preparation of peer-reviewed articles and other publications from the projects.
Liaise closely with the SEI financial team regarding the budgeting, costs and reporting for the project.
