We are looking for you with experience and great skills focused on business development and project management. In this central position at Polestar, you'll be supporting our business when Polestar now continues to deploy key financial services solutions, such as retail finance and retail insurance, in existing and new markets. You will manage multiple simultaneous projects in close collaboration with colleagues from other functions and external stakeholders like banks, leasing and insurance companies.
This is a temporary contract position, expected to start September 2022 and proceed for one year. This position is located at our HQ in Gothenburg, Sweden.
What you'll do
The focus in this position will be to:
• Contribute to new business development in existing and new markets
• Manage and drive all Financial Services projects such as, but not limited to retail finance, insurance, and inventory funding:
• Preparation - goal setting and scoping, budget setting and roll out planning
• Execution - monitor and steer implementation, manage risks and inform stakeholders
• Conclusion - support post-launch and define improvement plan
• Coordinate with and manage multiple partners and stakeholders both internal as well as external financial and digital partners
Who you are
To be a great fit for this position we believe you have several years of experience within a similar position showcasing achievements in new business development complemented by excellent project management skills such as planning capabilities, leading others, and an efficient way of working. You have experience in managing multiple projects, where coordination is required with other projects and multiple stakeholders.
Further on you have:
• Experience in working in multi-cultural and cross-functional teams, managing multiple stakeholders
• Ability to summarize, document and present information in an effective and understandable way to all stakeholders
• Experience from and understanding of IT- and web development projects
• Ability to transform strategy into operations
• University/Higher vocational education
• You master verbal and written communication in English on a professional level, and you enjoy working in an international context
• Working within Financial Services is meritorious but not a requirement
