Our ambition is to become the global standard in smart digital asset management.
We are now looking for a competent, driven and self-motivated colleague to join our Brand and Marketing team in the role of Project Leader. As someone interested in both fashion and smart technology, you will work with a broad range of responsibilities, centering around press releases, communication, events and social media, providing and monitoring communication for our brand, both internally and externally.
Our core team, of which you will be a part, is located on Södermalm, Stockholm. You will also work closely together with team members based in Paris and New York City.
Your days will include
Develop standard procedures and best practices for press releases and outreach to press publications, journalists, fashion and tech blogs.
Prepare press releases in both English and Swedish, depending on the publication and target audience.
Foster constant exchange for press needs with remote team members in Paris and New York City. Field and evaluate press inquiries.
Coordinate press events, as well as arrangements for trade shows and industry conferences.
Actively collaborate on a new social media strategy, including social media crisis management,to handle our current business to business model, as well as a possible future business to consumer model.
Set up and/or maintain social media user accounts, permissions and passwords, understanding that global events may occasionally occur (within reason) outside of standard working hours in Sweden.
Set up brand-monitoring user accounts, permissions and passwords.
Monitor our social media channels, upload fresh content (text and images), respond to fans and followers. Stay informed of trends in social media, always keeping Looklet in the proper channels according to the needs of the business.
Analyze and share social media learnings and brand awareness activities with colleagues, creating a plan for continued growth and development.
Compile press and internet clippings to monitor?s Looklet?s growth in the fashion technology industry.
Your profile
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Swedish
1-3 years? experience working with either fashion and/or technology press and journalists or bloggers, including the mechanics of writing and distributing a proper press release specifically written to create buzz and awareness of the brand, its product and/or employees
Passion for fashion is key for evangelizing the brand and product in the eyes of both potential and existing clients and fans, while passion for technology is a plus
Service-mindedness and commitment to providing outstanding communication to both journalists and brand fans
Curiosity to reach out to trendsetters and influencers in fashion and technology
Self-starter, a proactive attitude and solution orientation (problems are challenges, not obstacles)
Multi-tasking skills, time management skills and ability to prioritize work
Ability to work independently and be flexible to take on new challenges as the business matures
