Accedo is looking for an experienced Project Director who want to join our Professional Services team at our headquarters in Stockholm and be part of delivering rich TV application solutions for Smart TVs, game consoles, media devices, mobile phones and tablets.

As a Project Director at Accedo you will manage application development projects for global telecom and media companies like Spotify, HBO, Fox, Viaplay, Orange & DTAG on multiple platforms ranging from Smart TVs, game consoles, set-top-boxes and media devices to mobile phones and tablets. The Project Director is expected to drive projects from project start until final delivery and commercial launch.
ROLE RESPONISIBILITIES
Over-arching responsibility for Professional Services engagements in the region
Direct management of Tier-1 Customer Projects, from initiation through to closure
Single point of contact for Customer, Supplier and Delivery Team escalations
Managing a part of the Delivery Organisation in the region, providing leadership and direction to Project Managers and Development Teams through Team Leads (~15 FTE)
Responsible for local project governance, change management, financial control and reporting to key internal stakeholders
Responsible for delivery resource planning, capacity management, utilisation, growth strategy and recruitment
Adhering to Accedo delivery best practices and supporting the on-going improvement of delivery processes
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
Seasoned programme/project management professional with 8+ years? experience managing large scale software development projects
Solid experience working with senior Customer stakeholders (including C-Level Executives) in a Professional Services capacity
Prior experience managing project portfolio?s or large programmes of work with full responsibility for delivery governance and financial performance
Hands on experience managing local and remote delivery teams with full responsibility for resource planning and capacity management
Well versed in various project management methodologies and software development processes (professional accreditation highly desirable)
Industry experience delivering software solutions for Smart TV, Mobile Platforms, Games Consoles or other Connected Devices highly desirable
Exceptional English communication and presentation skills are essential
University degree in Business Management, IT, Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline
