We have a large demand for our products in the naval market. Therefore, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual who are interested in working with projects within the naval business. As a Project Coordinator, you will work both as sales support and manage your own projects. Our projects are often complex which requires experience in project management.
Our team is responsible for both sales support and project delivery of ILS work packages. The concept of ILS, Integrated Logistics Support, can be described as how we recommend our customers to take care of our products during the lifetime of the ship to ensure reliability and keep the cost as low as possible. Several different deliverables can be included in the ILS scope dependent on customer requirements.
Key accountabilities
As Project Coordinator you will review customer ILS requirements and compliance matrixes during the bid phase. You will prepare quotations for ILS work packages and plan, coordinate and manage ILS delivery projects. As Project Coordinator you will also work with ILS deliverables such as recommended spare parts lists, FMECA and obsolescence reports. A part of the role is to interact with suppliers to get necessary data and customer contact.
Qualifications and experience
To succeed in this role and make this a perfect fit, we believe that you have a technical background and experience with project management. A bachelor's degree in relevant field is considered an advantage. Product knowledge is a plus but not a requirement, as well as knowledge of maintenance planning, ILS standards and LSA (logistics support analysis).
We believe you are methodical and structured with the ability to act on own initiative. You have a talent of building network of contacts and relationships and utilizes it to achieve objectives. You should be able to execute plans with commitment and determination. Your ability to use a methodical and systematic approach is appreciated. In this position, it is important to co-operate well with others, share knowledge, experience, information and support others in the pursuit of team goals.
Due to the nature of an international customer and supplier base, high level of English, both written and oral, is important. Communication skills in other languages is considered an advantage.
Business travel may occur to some extent.
