We are looking for a Project Controller Sweden for our Stockholm facility
YOUR ROLE
As Project Controller you will act as a single point of contact for all financial issues relating to the project. Providing all required financial information about the complete project to both internal and external stakeholders. Assessing and measuring financial impact of risks and opportunities. Proactively follow and challenge the project cash flow. In addition you will have the role of Co-pilot to the project manager to assure focus on the achievement of the financial goals of the project. This is a key role demanding strong interpersonal skills, proven controlling expertise and ability to deliver high quality output in an environment with tight deadlines.
YOUR CHALLENGES
Project Accounting:
• Calculation based on functional inputs, R&O's
• Correction of wrong bookings: revenues, costs, provisions and hours
• fulfill financial project-documentation (OSC-requirements)
Management-information & advice:
• Project financial analysis: AC-data & predict consequences on timing & total amount of costs & revenues to inform PT
• Participation in R&O-workshops, Project Team-meetings & change control boards
• advise PM and PT in financial matters (i.e. prepare scenario-calc's), train PT on financial implications of their decisions
Commercial Project-execution:
• invoicing (external & Interco), active invoice-follow up
• ensure hedging of revenues & costs
• handling of all tax- (incl. PE) & insurance-issues
• calc. of CO's, offensive claims & price escalation.-formulas
Project-planning:
• P&L+BS
• Cash in planning
Cost- & revenue-control
• challenge involved functions to increase revenues and reduce costs
• update payment-plan
YOUR EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
• University degree in Business Administration with major in accounting, controlling, finance or equivalent
• Experience in commercial project execution
• Solid experience in project accounting
• Knowledge of ERP systems
• Strong user of MS Office package
• Excellent English communication skills
• Proven ability to deliver in project driven environment
