In the role as Project Controller you will be positioned within Process Industries Division and reporting to Business Controller Process Industries.
You will be responsible for Project Controlling for all Local Division represented.
Your responsibilities
Tender stage: Supports the tender manager on financial aspects and provides input in local risk review process.
Project execution: Provides input to the Project Execution Plan on financial aspects. Prepares project invoices, financial accounting and reporting (including project site accounting). Drives and seeks for optimization of Project Cash Flow, Revenues and GM contribution together with Project Manager. Oversees currency risk, bonds and guarantees and possible tax issues. Is responsible for the correctness of project balance sheet and income statement as well as for cash flow and monthly/quarterly forecast.
Monitoring, review and support: Participates in opportunity / risk identification, monitors that all required mitigation actions are timely implemented. Holds a joint responsibility with the Project Manager for all financial aspects of the project including estimation at completion and related Cost-to-complete, forecasted Revenues and Cash Flow, Risks and Opportunities assessment and ensuring alignment with other functions including Project Controls, planning/scheduling. Supports the Project Manager in coordinating and preparing monthly project reviews. Participates in preparing the project cost report. Verifies the substance for cost to complete.
Maintains local project review documentation and prepares minutes of meeting of project review meeting in line with ABB Group instructions.
Commercial terms: Provides support on claim management, back-charges and insurance cases and monitors the proper follow up together with the Contract Manager/Project Manager up-stream (towards customer), side-stream (towards consortia partner) as well as down-stream (towards suppliers).
Compliance & Internal Control: Supports the Project Manager in adherence to corporate governance, integrity, assurance, internal control, group charter, business specific finance directives and instructions.

Your background
A Bachelor 's degree or higher in accounting, finance or other relevant discipline.
You have project controller 's certification or similar training.
Experience in project controlling, reporting and SOX controls.
Experience from working with global businesses.
Knowledge of SAP, SharePoint, Excel, Power BI and other modern IT/IS tools and solutions.
Strong logical thinking, problem solving and project management skills.
Excellent communication skills in English.
Ability to work in and handle complex organizational structures and multiple stakeholders.
