www.daghammarskjold.seThe Dag Hammarskjöld Foundation seeks dynamic and enthusiastic professionals to join its Secretariat. We are recruiting two Programme Managers:
1. Programme Manager - Global Disorders
2. Programme Manager - Hammarskjöld's Legacy Duties and responsibilities:
The Programme Managers will be responsible for planning, implementation and follow-up of their respective programmes. Programme activities include coordination of stakeholder dialogues with government officials, policy makers, academia and civil society, as well as publishing and outreach. The Programme Managers are expected to work independently in a team environment and will at times be involved in other programmes of the Foundation. International and national travels are expected as part of the position.
The day-to-day programme management includes:
Developing and undertaking of a programme work plan, including budgeting. Organising and facilitating national and international meetings and seminars. Drafting analytical reports and reports on progress and outcomes as required, including communication of the programme in social media. Outreach and networking, including mobilisation of additional funding.
Requirements and qualifications:
Master's degree or equivalent in a field relevant to the programme. A minimum of ten years of relevant professional experience. Professional knowledge/experience related to programme matters. Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills in English and working knowledge of Swedish. Proven experience of project management, analytical report writing, team-work and administration. Experience of coordinating multi-stakeholder dialogues, organising and facilitating workshops, conferences and seminars, and consolidating outputs into clear and concise summary reports. Experience of working internationally.

Selected candidates will be employed by the Dag Hammarskjöld Foundation following Swedish labour laws. Remunerations will be competitive based on the Swedish market and will be subject to Swedish income tax.
