WHAT WILL YOU DO?
The main responsibility is to act Program Technical Lead and be a member of our Common Firmware Program team. The team is responsible for managing our Firmware Platform and upgrading Axis product portfolio with new firmware. The Program Technical Lead role is focused on technical issues, change and defect management but also includes various other tasks and activities.
Program Technical Support
• Assist program manager with analyzing problems in our products and other technical issues
• Collect and analyze statistics
• Give support when delivering new Firmware to production
• Coordinate technical issues with other parts of Axis
Defect Management
• Participate in program planning and software issue prioritization
• Follow-up platform quality and release blockers
Change Management
• Follow-up integrations to our Common Firmware Platform
• Be interface for Products Management regarding release note information
Continuous Improvement
• Participate in our transformation to DevOps and other improvement activities
• Order new/updated infrastructure and improvements
As Program Tech lead, you will work with bridging the technical gap between different domains, e.g. benchmark results and the impact on releases.
This position is important because it will enable better cooperation within the organization and increase Axis product quality.

You should have a genuine interest in developing a technical in-depth understanding of products and solutions. We also believe that you have a high social networking skills, comfortable with driving change and have a great interest in working with the combination software and hardware products.
We also believe that you have:
Master's degree in engineering or similar
Software or product development background
General software development knowledge
Experience from leading and coordinating activities and developers
Debugging Products
Knowledge of Agile methodology such as Scrum
Knowledge of continuous delivery and integration
Knowledge of Quality Assurance and Release Management
OUR TEAM
We are a team within Axis Research & Development organization, responsible for upgrading Axis product portfolio with new software. We work close together with our firmware and product development to ensure that Axis products portfolio is up-to-date and meet our customers' requirements.
