Advanced Solutions Practice is a horizontal within Cognizant that serves to accomplish projects which Require Cross-functional/technical skill-set and challenging and dynamic project environments. ASG has a top-notch program management team, deep technology and architecture capability servicing all of the Cognizant's verticals and specializes in execution of their large and complex projects. Agile Consulting and delivery has been a key focus area for ASG and there are several engagements currently being serviced by the group.
ASG achieves this through its potent blend of attributes - deep technology and architecture capability, top-notch program management team with experience of deliver large scale and complex enterprise-level solutions, next-generation delivery processes and expertise in technology tools - to combat complexity in clients' IT environments in a range of industries. With advanced methodologies like agile being used, ASG continues to deliver in complex business and IT scenarios and continues to create a stronghold in its position in Cognizant operating model.
Provide overall leadership for the Nordics Program Management Practice in Sweden. Work closely with Cognizant's local Client Partners/Account Managers and Cognizant's offshore staff to deliver contracted services to Swedish customers. Participate in the business development activities including preparation and presentation of program management capabilities.
Other responsibilities:
• Manage the day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of multiple or large scale projects. Leverage experience to provide thought leadership to the team regarding the program.
• Supervise managers working on client engagements across several practices
• Review major deliverables across projects
• Minimize Cognizant exposure and risk factor across multiple projects
• Implement reviews and quality assurance procedures in accordance with Cognizant methodology to ensure profitable and successful execution of project/ consulting engagements as measured by regional goals and customer satisfaction
• Take leadership role in managing project stakeholders and sponsors
• In coordination with the account team keep track of the project financials (profitability, revenue, margins and utilization) and allocation of appropriate budget.
• Conduct business development activities including: respond to Requests for Proposal/Information (RFP/Is), provide customer facing presentations on Cognizant's program management capabilities, participate in marketing/awareness campaigns and engage with other business units in related business development activities.
• Coordinate with other horizontal practices such as Testing, IT Infrastructure Services and Cognizant Business (domain) Consulting to provide Nordic region customers access to fully integrated business solutions.
• Manage the recruiting/hiring of local Swedish staff to support the delivery of program management services.
• Mentor, coach and enhance skills of local Nordic staff on the delivery of program management service offerings and integrated use of a global delivery model to provide cost-effective customer solutions.
• Build/expand a self sustaining program management delivery competency
• Conduct performance management activities such as goal setting, performance reviews and promotion evaluation.
• 10-12+ years of IT experience
• 5-7+ years project/program management experiences
• A Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering,
