We are recruiting a dedicated Production Manager for Tetra Pak Packaging Material Sunne AB. Tetra Pak Packaging manufactures packages materials for Tetra Rex, a package for liquid foods. Our production consists of converting plastic coated paperboard to packages through three operations steps; lamination, printing / punching and edge sealing. We are about 300 employees, of which 45 people work on our unit in Skoghall.
As Production Manager, you will have the overall responsibility and coordinate all other functions in the factory to plan, organize and control the production to ensure that products are produced efficiently, on time, within budget and to standard. You will manage an engaged team and report to the Operations Director.
The position is based in Sunne, Sweden.
Main responsibilities
• Coordinate with all supporting functions in factory to ensure smooth production
• Arrange production according to customer requirement and set quality and safety standards
• Responsible for production process training and supervise the execution status
• Manage production team and be responsible for team training needs and employee development
• Responsible for environmental factors identification, assessment, control and management
• Provide technical support and lead to solve technical problems in production process
• Participate and promote in WCM activities and skills in production/process team
Qualifications
We are looking for a dedicated leader to coach and motive the team to achieve personal as well as common goals. You have the ability to form a long-term vision and to translate it into clear objectives, and the drive to carry them through. We value your openness and commitment to change and continuous improvements. Your communication and networking skills are strong and you easily manage different stakeholders.
You have at least 5-6 years' experience managing production/process operations area while at least 1 - 2 years at managerial level.
You have a technical university degree and sound knowledge of manufacturing and assembly processes. You have a systematic approach to problem definition and problem solving and experience in driving World Class Manufacturing activities. A very good command of English, both written and oral is required.
